KVKK and Privacy Agreement

This text explains the principles of personal data protection, processing, retention and privacy for all services and content offered through www.drozdogan.com. www.drozdogan.com is a service of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özdoğan.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data are processed by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özdoğan as the data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

The following categories of data may be processed on the website:

• Cancer type or medical condition information (special categories of personal data — requiring explicit consent)
• IP address, device information, session data and cookie records

3. Purposes of Data Processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

• Managing online appointment and contact requests
• Responding to enquiries
• Processing newsletter subscription requests
• Managing comment submissions
• Ensuring website security
• Analytics measurements and improving the user experience through cookies

4. Processing Special Categories of Personal Data

Special categories of data concerning your cancer type or health information are collected, processed and retained only with your explicit consent. Completing this field without giving explicit consent is not recommended.

5. Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred domestically to legally authorized public bodies, technical service providers and the relevant authorities where legally required. Technical measurement data sent to services such as Google Analytics 4 may be processed outside Türkiye, depending on the service provider's infrastructure. Transfers of personal data abroad are subject to the conditions set out in Article 9 of Law No. 6698.

6. Retention Period

Data are retained for the periods prescribed by law; when those periods expire, the data are deleted or anonymized automatically or upon request.

7. Use of Cookies

The website uses cookies for the user experience, analytics measurements and security. The standard Google Analytics 4 tag starts when a public page opens; it does not wait for a choice in the cookie dialog and may use cookies. Technical data such as the visit time, page address and title, device/browser information and random client identifiers may be measured. Network communication with the Google tag also transmits the IP address to Google; Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. Form text and private administration, clinical and patient/report URLs are not included in the page measurement configured on this website. • To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
